The Anniversary of our first date was a little over a month ago. Richard surprised me with a beautiful gift - custom made pearl and diamond earrings. I finally took them off long enough to take a picture and show everyone how pretty they are. But the best part is how romantic and thoughtful my Honey was in getting this gift for me.
I love Audrey Hepburn's style and I'm somewhat obsessed with her look. Richard was unable to sleep one night and was up surfing the net. Bless him - he was reading my blog and I had just posted a article about Audrey Hepburn. Mr. Romantic's light bulb went off - about a million watts of thoughtfulness to be exact. He sent the picture of Audrey's earrings over to his jeweler and had the earrings made for our anniversary.
Two days before our anniversary, we were having a lounging-in morning watching a movie (romantic, chick flick) and Richard suddenly told me he couldn't wait to give me his gift. I was surprised by the earrings and LOVE them (especially since they have screw backs to ensure they don't fall off). But the very best part was that he had them made just for me.
Richard is the ultimate romantic and the best part of the gift was how excited he was to give me something so special. He has the biggest heart and the buzz he gets from given to people is the icing on the cake.
And oh, part of the gift is a great framed print of Audrey with the quote;
"You can always tell what kind of person a man thinks you are,
by the earrings he gives you".
You can tell the type of man he is, by the buzz he gets from giving his heart.
